A Graduation ceremony of the US Consulate funded graduates was held today at ICARE. The U.S. Consulate General, Colleen Crenwelge was the honorable chief guest and public affairs officer, U.S. Consulate Micheal Guinan along with other respected guests also attended from the US Consulate. Ms. Mehreen Syed, CEO and Chairperson ICARE and IFAP, along with the ICARE staff also attended the function. Certificates were handed out to 10 young graduates who successfully took their step for the betterment of their future.
Following its successful launch in 2016, IFAP in association with the L’Oréal Foundation, SMU and Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF), proudly presents the 2018 class of graduates. ICARE a Lahore based NGO is a philanthropic professional educational program in Pakistan which is designed to enable underprivileged members of society to gain access to employment and self-esteem through top quality, free-of-charge professional beauty training.
ICARE works to enhance the socio-economic status of underprivileged women by empowering them with self-confidence and required skills to enable them to become independent and contribute to family and society.
